Don't say you never get anything free... Here's a FREE Ableton Drum Rack sampled from Akai Pro's Rhythm Wolf analog drum machine just for you! Just create a free account and download it!
Rhythm Wolf Mark of the Beats is a small, fierce collection of finely tuned Drum Racks for use in Ableton Live. This version works with all versions of Live, and is built of up several unique and wild, processed samples of the iconic Rhythm Wolf, by Akai.
- Install the User Pack to a specific location on your hard drive, by double-clicking on the “Ableton Live Wolf Pack- Rhythms.alp”. Once installed, in the Ableton Browser, press ‘Add Folder’, at the bottom.
- This will launch the browser and allow you to navigate to the folder where you unpacked everything.
- Navigate to the Wolf Kit Project folder, and select this file to appear in your Browser.
- Once selected, when pressed within the browser, you’ll have access to the example clips, and presets.
Note: The Rhythm Wolf 1 drum rack uses a vocoder for some of its effect. However, the Carrier routing is broken, when saved. To hear the sound in action, and to possibly keep the routing, load the Rhythm Wolf Project.
To enable the Vocoder in another project, and keep the effect, make sure you route Rhythm Wolf 1 back in to its own Vocoder, Pre FX, as shown below. The Vocoder can be found within the Return A Chain, within the Rhythm Wolf 1 Drum kit.
