Back on 29th April 2020 Behringer revealed they were recreating the Solina String Ensemble synthesizer and bringing it to the masses. Taking into account the vast number of analog components it's understandable that it has been 9 months since we last heard about its development.
Today Behringer have released the first video showcasing its beautiful string sounds.
Here's the video and more details below:
Adam gives you an update on the development of Solina String Ensemble, one of the best stringers ever produced and used by the world’s most famous artists.
Behringer says they've been taking their time to really recreate the "exact same sound as the original".
There's lots more info in the video. It's worth a watch.
The Behringer version does not include a 49-key keyboard like the orignal and includes full MIDI in and out and much more.
No details on the price just yet... but, they are close to finishing the synth and they estimate it will be available in the next few months.
