Black Lion Audio makes bespoke audio processing hardware and here at Ask.Audio we've been fans for some time. So it was excellent to catch up with them at NAMM 2019 and find out about the new gear they've been working on for release. You can get the full story by watching the short video that follows.
The B173 Quad is a Neve-inspired, 4-channel preamp with 2x DI inputs that retails for $1499.
The B12A Quad is an API-inspired 4-channel preamp that retails for $1199.
Both units are expected to ship in a month's time.
Hollin Jones was classically trained as a piano player but found the lure of blues and jazz too much to resist. Graduating from bands to composition then production, he relishes the chance to play anything with keys.
