Creating the Perfect Headphone Monitor Mix in a Recording Session With Waves NX
Rounik Sethi on Thu, May 18th 0 comments
Imagine being able to record a track with your band with a headphone mix that sounded completely natural and let you feel like you were in the room without wearing cans. Waves NX can do just that.

Waves NX Mix Room is a virtual monitoring plugin that lets you hear, on headphones, the same natural depth and panoramic stereo image you would be hearing from speakers in an actual room. It's designed to give you the sense of being in the room without noticing you have headphones on.

In this video Russ Long (Wilco) explores how to provide excellent headphones mixes for recording musicians in a recording session using Waves NX plugin:

Russ uses top session players for Robert Plant & Don Henley to see how they tackle this challenge with the Nx plugin.
