Here's what happens when you put a Roland TR-8S, Elektron Digitakt, and Nick de Friez in a room together. Spoiler alert: It sounds really, really good!
The Roland TR-8S is out. So far it's been lauded by many, aside from the slightly odd 5 simultaneous fader movement bug, which most people won't experience. It's evidently a powerful, flexible production and performance drum machine and sample player. And the Elektron Digitakt needs no introduction. It's a worthy "drum" and sampler machine with some excellent features.
So we're super happy to see and hear an excellent performance by Nick de Friez using both the Elektron Digitakt and the Roland TR-8S. If you need more convincing that either machine is great, we're honestly not sure what to suggest.
