These Overlays For Korg MS-20 Mini Will Unlock The Secrets Of This Semi-Modular Synthesizer

If you've ever struggled with the existing interface of the Korg MS-20 Mini these synthesizer overlays could help you unlock the potential behind the complexity.

Released in 2013, the Korg MS-20 Mini semi-modular synthesizer has become the centerpiece of many music studios, live rigs, and electronic music classrooms.  For many musicians and students however, the full potential of this incredible machine remains hidden behind its charmingly mysterious front panel graphics. The new oversynth.comoverlays were created to help unlock the Mini’s vast potential by using modern interface design elements such as:

  • large, readable fonts and high contrast graphics for easy viewing, even in low light
  • descriptive labeling, using contemporary synthesis terms
  • color-coded synthesis sections and patch panel jacks (on some designs)
  • patch panel jack labels clearly indicate inputs (white text on black background) vs. outputs (black text on white background)

The MS-20 Mini overlays are manufactured in the USA using highly durable, waterproof, and chemical resistant synthetic material (not vinyl) for maximum performance and long life.

Watch the video below for a demonstration on how to install one of the overlays.

To install one of our overlays, simply remove all of the knobs and screws from the front panel of your Korg MS-20 Mini synthesizer. Next, place the overlay over the front panel and press it down around the jacks and knob shafts. Once the overlay is in place, re-attach all the knobs and screws. Since the overlay is held securely in place by the synthesizer’s front panel screws and knobs, there is no need for adhesive on the back side of the overlay that could potentially harm the synthesizer’s original paint.
