Isotonik Studios Brings Granular Looping Cycle of Death & Rebirth To Ableton Live
Imagine being able to record a sound into Ableton Live, loop it based on up to 36 grains and create interesting textures and soundscapes that nobody else ever would. That's Samsara.
For those of you unfamiliar with Buddhist or Sanskrit philosophy, Samsara (the name of this rather awesome Max for Live device) roughly means "the cycle of death and rebirth to which life in the material world is bound". It's considered to be the state you and me are in, a painful one, where life follows death follows life and on and on. Breaking out of this perpetual cycle would be possible by reaching a state of Nirvana.
But I digress... back to music production and this granular looping Max for Live device! Samsara by Dillon Bastan has been released by Isotonik Studios and it's the type of Max for Live device you'll probably never get bored of.
The definition above is the inspiration for this latest MaxforLive Granular Looper from Dillon Bastan, creator of IOTA and Ecosystem.
