At a time when the democtratisation of music technology enables more and more of us access to music making tools for a fraction of the cost from just a few years back, there are still deals which are beyond our affordability expectations.
Samplified sample packs jump to mind. While perusing their site today looking for sample packs to appeal to the more affordable side of my wallet I was stunned to find so many of their trending packs available for just $2. Yes, $2 people. The price of a coffee, if that.
What do you get in each pack? Well, there's nothing in the way of filler as you might expect with a $2 pack. Instead we're talking quality content. In the Trap Percussion Drums sample pack, for example, there's 30 live percussion loops, 25 processed percussion loops, 40 snares, claps, hats, and kick one shots, 25 live percussion one-shots, 30 impacts and sweeps. For the price that's plenty to get your teeth into.
There's a range of styles and genres catered for from Trap to chillout, Lofi drums to real guitars. Deep House, Rap, EDM, Cinematic sounds, Future Bass, Hip Hop, percussion, and so much more.
These are expertly recorded, edited and curated packs. The only issue we think is they might be priced too low. Might be worth grabbing a couple of packs before they realise!
If you're looking to add some unique and production-ready sounds into your tracks then the samples, loops, one-shots, presets and MIDI files available at Samplified are well-worth checking out.
Price: Free / $2 for most packs
Pros: High-quality recordings, decent range of styles, some free packs to download immediately, incredibly low prices.
Cons: We'd love an even wider selection of instruments in the future.
