Soundtoys aren’t your ordinary plugins. They are designed to inspire creativity in your audio processing and sound design. Join trainer Joe Albano as he shows these “toys” in action and explains how they work!
The team at Soundtoys has long been known as makers of some of the most innovative audio plugins. And though they’ve been on the market for a few years now, we’ve discovered that many producers don’t really know what makes them tick… and how to have fun using them! So in this course, by the ever-knowledgable Joe Albano, you are in for an audio journey where you learn all about these audio “toys”, their unique controls and hear them in action.
The toys covered in this course are:
Crystallizer - a granular slicing, reversible echo
Decapitator - a subtle to extreme distortion pocketknife
FilterFreak - an analog, fat, feedbackable, freaked-out filter
EchoBoy - a totally fun echo that is used on more mixes than any other
PhaseMistress - the sexiest, warmest, silkiest phaser that you’ll love to love
Tremolator - a tremolo with programmable rhythms… no way!
PanMan - move audio around in ways that make analog panners jealous!
So dive into “Playing With Soundtoys” and see how you can make mixing and sound design fun again. It’s audio playtime!

I've been using Soundtoys plug-ins for a few year now. I really like them, and Joe just made me like them even more. Very good course, well explained. I'll be able to go more in depth.

Excellent course! I will now look for other courses Joe has, because he rocked this one. He is so knowledgable and the pics of the classic gear made the course standout from the others -new level.
I hope Joe updates this course based on sound toys 5, which adds more effects. I would love to hear what Joe has to say about those.

Joe does a great job here. I've been using Soundtoys plugins since Pro Tools 6, and I was still able to learn a lot of useful things here. Joe explains everything in clear detail, but he also helps you appreciate the musicality in these tools. Lots of good ideas even if you've been around the block a few times.
