Emailing an ableton project to someone
I am having an issue emailing a project. It is always too large to send even though I’m still using lite and it’s never more than 5 tracks. I have tried compressing the file into a zip and it says it is still too big. The problem maybe the fact that ableton always saves everything that is recorded on a project. If I record something that I don’t like and I delete it from arrangement view it still is saved somewhere. Could this be the problem? How do you stop this?

Most DAW projects -- even medium-sized ones -- are too big to attach to many email clients. People usually use something like DropBox or WeTransfer -- services like that usually have a free option (for example with DropBox it's up to 2GB at a time). Once you create an account, then you can upload sessions and send an email with a link to the recipient -- it's pretty easy.
