Hey Jodie, Sorry, I've been spending most of my time in the Logic forums! I love the Live 8 101 tutorial. Really! Bill Burgess is a great trainer. I'm not up to scratch on the differences between Live 7 and Live 8. But I'd recommend you check out the topic list for Live 8 to see if it's helpful. But I would recommend it if you suspect you may ever upgrade to Live 8 in the future... The Live 8 101 tutorial rocks! :) Rounik

Yup, Logic 9 is overall very nice. I'm enjoying the Flex Time features (like Audio Warp in Ableton Live) and other small things like 'convert to sampler instrument'.
