It works through much of the workflow of Ableton, and near the end he demonstartes how he uses his Akai APC40 to control Ableton. I think this tutorial will benefit you in how to use your Akai MPD24 with Ableton. Also take a look at Noah Pred's tutorial: [url]http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/ableton-live-8-hooked-on-racks[/url] In this tutorial Noah covers many handy tips when working with Ableton's Racks, he also shows you how to use your controller in combination with Ableton Racks (in the video he is using an Akai MPD32). But I am sure from watching the tutroails you could apply the same techniques with your Akai MPD24
