Midi unmapped
Hello dear sirs, I suddenly ended into a strange situation; suddenly I got a notification after starting up one of my projects a 'Missing Ports' pop up screen that says that the Midi out of my Giant Piano is unmapped. There is no sound in that channel and I can not even edit this sound. My strings channel keeps silent as well. One of the other channels where I have the sound of retrologue is normally working...I restarted the computer, keyboard and a number of other options but it remains unmapped. Anyone any idea how to solve this? thanks, Ruud Jansen [img][/img] [img][/img]

Re: Midi unmapped
This situation usually occurs when you open a project from one computer to another. If the MIDI configurations aren't identical on both machines, Cubase will present this window so that you can route the old MIDI destinations to one (or more) on your current computer. However, it can also happen with templates that are saved with one configuration, but are then opened when Cubase has been assigned a new configuration. The easiest way to solve it is to change the missing port to a new mapped port, and make sure to click the Map Always option. I hope that helps. MattLTH
