    Hi Jodie, When a Session is Created and Saved in Pro Tools, within this session will be a folder containing the Wav Files... copy this to your hard drive... To paraphrase Rounik... "Wav files are much more common... are more compatible across a wide range of systems..." and are an industry standard. I too am unaware of a quality difference btw wav and sd11 files, but Pro Tools wav files should have a time stamp on them... Hope this helps, Cheers, Bj

    It helps a lot, Bj, thanks! Another advantage: one can listen to .wav files using quicklook on OSX Leopard, without opening any app. Doesn't work for .sd2 files. Greetings, macnando
