VST's in Logic Express 7
Hi, I've bought Logic Express a couple of weeks ago. I have a Mac Mini and I was wondering where I can find VST's for Logic Express 7. These things are quite useful for producing music and I can't seem to find anything. Would really appreciate it if people could help me out with this. Greets, Tim

Plugins in Logic are in the Audio Unit (AU) format. There are many many AU plugins available, both effetcs and instruments. Some are free and many are not. If a plugin is only available in VST, you can use http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=5 to convert it and use it in Logic. Even if Logic Express is limited compared to the Logic Pro, don't forget that it comes standard with a great collection of plugins!

Ciao Tim, Welcome to the forum! First, Logic doesn't use VST'S it uses the Mac equivalent AU's (Stands for Audio Unit). If there is a specific VST that you want to use, and it is LOGIC/MAC compatible then you can use a VST to AU wrapper. you can purchase it at: http://www.fxpansion.com. Just a a word of advice, logic comes with more than enough virtual instruments. I would learn them first, and learn logic first before moving onto 3rd party stuff. You are in the right place, Craig
