I'm not sitting in front of Logic right now, which I'd need to be able to do to answer this with any competence. There are guys that know the score editor much better than I, so I'll let them address this directly. My question for now is, how are the same notes showing up in the Piano Roll editor? Another thought: is it possible that the notes you are trying to draw in are out of range of the instrument for which you are scoring? Some exs24 instruments only contain notes in the natural range of the instrument they are emulating. Those are two things that I can think of to check off the top of my head without sitting in front of Logic while answering. Or maybe I should just go off quietly now and sit in the corner...

Hmmm. Oddness. I assume you were using the pencil tool to "draw" in notes? Because I tried it and the same thing happened. The notes were in the score editor, but if I opened up the piano roll editor, nothing. Weird. However, if instead of trying to use the pencil tool, I clicked on a note value in the part box, like an eighth note, and dragged it to the staff, that did work. And after doing that few times, I went back to the pencil tool, and then that worked too. No idea what's going on there, but that's what worked for me.
