Hey, the MPC 2 VST Plugin is crashing whatever DAW I choose to load it...those being Reaper 6.35 and Harrison MixBus 7.1. When I select it's AU version, it crashes GarageBand 10, and fails to load in Reaper and MixBus. I'm on a Mac OS X 10.14.6 Recently, the VST has been failing to load in the DAW at startup; it isn't listed in the FX Browser. Nothing I've tried has helped… -Uninstalled/reinstall of the MPC 2 software multiple times. -Reinstalled the last version of Reaper that ran MPC 2 successfully. -Loaded the plugin in a new session to test for conflicts. -Copied and renamed VST file to see if it would load. Anyone got any suggestions? I can't get a reply from Akai or the MPC Forum. Thanks.

Hi - It sounds like you've tried most of the usual troubleshooting steps. A quick search turned up some mention of issues with MPC v2.10 -- maybe it's an MPC version-related issue..? (Having the same crashing issue in multiple DAWs does seem to point to MPC as the culprit, unless something else has recently changed, like a system update.) One person claimed that an updated version 2.10.0.83 fixed a problem of crashing in various DAWs -- I can't vouch for that (I don't own MPC), but it might be worth looking into..

Ya, I noticed that, and I'm not sure .83 even exists; I've looked everywhere! I can't get a reply from the poster either. The MPC Software updates within the App, and it tells me .82 is the latest version. There are no download links on the website. It's kind of tricky tho, cuz if you use Akai HW with the Software, the MPC version is different. I'm gonna try calling them today. If the hold time is anything like the wait for a reply to support emails, I'll be on the phone thru October... I've written Akai three times.. I sent my first request the first week in August; still haven't heard shite! Thanks for the reply.
