Recording Guitar directly into Apollo twin into Logic Pro
Hey Fam, I am new to the recording world. When I record my guitar directly into my Apollo the amp plug ins and pedals I have selected do not work during the recording. They only seem to work once I have done the recording. Is this normal? and is there a way to change this, in a setting, so that I can hear what I have set up before recording? Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben - You may need to be a little more specific about your setup.. Are the amp & pedals you're referring to the UA plug-ins that run on the interface's DSP? If so, then there's probably some kind of monitoring option in the Apollo software utility that you'd need to adjust to monitor the live input signal through the effects, with or without recording those effects.. I don't use an Apollo interface myself, but I've attached a link to a course that covers the Apollo interface software utility mixer -- I don't know if the version of the software shown in this course would correspond to the version of the Apollo software you may be running, but maybe it'll be helpful.. Btw, I've moved this thread to the Audio subforum..
