Hi - When you say "the editor screen/window appears down below" I assume you mean the Edit pane [at the bottom] with the waveform. As you said, normally that pane will open up when you double-click on a Region, but if for some reason it doesn't, then you can open that pane with the shortcut "E", or by going to View menu > Show Editor. Or are you saying that the Editor pane does open up but you can't scroll through it? If that's the case I couldn't duplicate that problem -- it works here with the Catch button[s] on or off.. Things to try.. - Try it in a different Project with different audio files to see if the issue is specific to a particular Project or file - GarageBand has numerous little graphic bugs & quirks -- sometimes switching to a different application and back resolves one - Of course [as always] do a hard shutdown/restart -- sometimes a restart fixes odd little problems like that..

Thanks for your reply, just figured it out as an issue with the playhead - had it synced up wrong. (Thanks again for your help)
