    GarageBand 11 Tutorial recommends Foreversave?
Hi. In chapter 18 of the GB11 tutorial, Scott Freiman recommends a 3rd party product called Foreversave as an auto save feature. It appears that the free version he recommends and uses in his video is no longer available and has been replaced by a new paid version called Foreversave2. I have looked at the trial version of this software and it looks like you are either now not able to use it with GB, or there is some not so obvious way to set it up. I have emailed the developer for advice on use with GB but have not heard back. Is it possible for someone, maybe Scott himself to offer some advice on how to set it up properly for use in GB? Thanks.

Update: Just received confirmation from the developer that he does not have GarageBand and therefore cannot confirm that his Foreversave2 product in actual fact works. Far out. A Mac app dev who creates something to go with a standard suite like iLife who does not have GB and cannot confirm his products use with standard Mac apps?? Lol... and he wants my $25?

You are correct that ForeverSave no longer has a free version, although you can download a free trial. I'm using it with GarageBand, and it appears to work fine. Just click the plus sign under "Library" to add GarageBand as an application.

Unfortunately I cannot get this app to work. The developer does not appear to want to communicate about the product either. Someone should make a little vid on how to set up and use for us 'dummies.' ;-)
