    Ultrabeat
Dear Forum! Out of a genuine interest I would very much appreciate if someone could answer/shed some light on the following. How "EXACTLY", on a general level, are all of the samples (I, specifically, refer to the samples in Ultrabeat) in the various drum kits really tuned? For example: In the Paris House Remix Kit you will find at the bottom a kick/bass drum called Main Kick, which is set to its default C3 (look at OSC 2), and by clicking on the slider we see the frequency = 261.6 Hz according to Logic, which is C (261.6256...Hz). Now, my FFT analyzer (which is not a Mac brand, but a really good one) will tell me that the fundamental is at approximately 64.26, which is not equal to 65.40639... = C (If I am correct). I have tried both HMT & Equal Tempered tuning, with basically the same result. Best Regards/Chord 123

Hi Chords 123, This is a good question - but I don't know... the only people who'll know are those that designed the sounds for Ultrabeat... Interesting test though! :)

Hi Rounik! Indeed, it would be interesting to know. I assume the samples are not specifically tuned, that they more or less defaults to C3 (I assume, and I want to point that out, because I'm not sure, since I have not tested every sample :) ), however, the, pahase osc is a different story.
