I'm very interested in the multiuser LAN jamming feature. The only issue I can see is a lawsuit by Ableton as it seems like they could be using similar technology.

I am using touchable as well, very solid and well integrated with Ableton. I would love to give the Lemur app a go but 50 bucks is a pretty penny.

I have looked around and have concluded that Ableton does not provide a MIDI event feature. If I am wrong please correct me. What other options are there when it comes to monitoring/editing MIDI events in Live. Any 3rd party apps that are recommended? Thanks

I sure did, I watched the whole series Saturday morning. Thanks for the update Gary. I love how easy additive synthesis is with Razor however I haven't been able to create anything that I cant already do in Massive. There is however a noticeable difference in tone quality with Razor over Massive due to its Additive properties. I will keep at it with Razor, I just wish we had the center pages for more advanced modulating in Razor like in Massive, that is where Massive really pulls through for me.

I agree Gary, it would be nice to see it as its own application. Reaktor can be a bit system heavy. Having Razor as its own app would make things a lot lighter and possibly provide the potential to do more additive sound processing. I run a 6 core 3.8 gh machine with 16 gb of RAM and I have created a few patches that have bogged my system. Any thoughts on efficiency?

I would have to follow suit with you Gary. Massive is my favorite synth period! With Razor coming in close behind. However I use Kontakt more than either of them in almost every song.

Hey macNut, welcome to music production. Have you watched any of the numerous training videos macProVideo has to offer? The questions you have asked would probably be better answered by watching the videos as it would require a lengthy response. There are training videos on Maschine and Protools which explain how to do what you are asking. Good Luck friend!

Brian did a phenomenal job introducing Reaktor's synth creation capabilities, it is one of my favorite tutorials on this site. I was hoping there was a follow up for an advanced series going more in depth with the modules and programming. Also, so far we have seen tutorials on Razor and Skanner XT but I would also love to see more on Reaktor's other factory ensembles (i.e. prism, spark, finger, mouth, lazerbass, carbon, steampipe). Perhaps brief overviews of what each one of Reaktor's ensembles are capable of, there is so much there. Keep it coming macProVideo!
