Hey, great tutorials. Material is presented in a clear, easy to understand manor, and the instructor has a great sense of humor and warmth in the way he presents it. I feel I can now move forward and begin to design the two websites I'm tasked with designing.
My issue is that the support files seem to be missing. For 101, we start out with the file, and work on it, tweak it up, add a bunch of new rules.
In the second part of the class, we start off with a version of the page that is totally different from where we left off in 101, with a version that does not contain many of the rules we set in 101. So the choice is either to continue on with a document that no longer matches what the instructor is doing, or to just try to edit the document so that it matches what the instructor is using. It would have been much easier just to download the new documents in the state they needed to be in to follow along with the lessons at the beginning.
Also, there is talk of adding a 2nd style sheet, that is embedded into the main styles sheet, called "import." This style sheet is also not included in the supporting files. I still found the videos informative, and I feel I was able to absorb the material, but again, would have been much easier to follow along and actually do the exercises as they were presented. It appears that the instructor is working under the impression that this second style sheet is available. However, the only supporting document included in the 201 download is the "alt_design.css" sheet.
