Going to jump in here and take a wild guess, as I don't know Maschine very well myself yet, but I do know that you can instantiate it as a multi-output instrument or a stereo. My guess is that you have a multi-output instrument and what you want is a stereo instrument. If that's not what's going on, you'll have to wait for someone more informed than I to help you out. M

Hey y'all! Hope no one's traveling on the US Eastern Seaboard tonight or tomorrow! Be safe. But anyway, as Kontakt is such a huge instrument (especially bundled in Komplete Ultimate), I'm giving myself little challenges to help me learn what is there, by choosing a Kontakt preset Multi (using the Evolve, or Evolve Mutations 1&2 libraries), and making a piece of music using the instruments found in that Multi. I can supplement with other instruments, but I have to use each of the instruments contained in the multi at least once. I was mixing down one of my little compositions, and noticed in the correlation meter that it was going in the red a significant amount of time. In trying to trace from where the conflict was coming, I matched different instruments against each other, tried different pan positions, and I found that sometimes it was a single instrument causing all the phasing. All on its own. How do you deal with that? I tried narrowing the stereo field, which worked, but also changed the characteristics that made it such a cool sound in the first place. Do you just resolve yourself to the fact that your track will suck if played on a mono system? Are there other strategies in dealing with these issues? Thanks! Be well. M

Hey, sorry if this is a "duh" question, but where are the supporting materials for the tutorials? I'm using my subscription and watching the Photoshop Lighting effects tutorials, and he's saying I can open the file he's working on, and then tells me to turn off a layer. I can't seem to find where I can download this supporting file. Is this a feature only available if I download the tutorial, or can I as a subscription user download it somewhere too? Hey, great tutorials. Material is presented in a clear, easy to understand manor, and the instructor has a great sense of humor and warmth in the way he presents it. I feel I can now move forward and begin to design the two websites I'm tasked with designing. My issue is that the support files seem to be missing. For 101, we start out with the file, and work on it, tweak it up, add a bunch of new rules. In the second part of the class, we start off with a version of the page that is totally different from where we left off in 101, with a version that does not contain many of the rules we set in 101. So the choice is either to continue on with a document that no longer matches what the instructor is doing, or to just try to edit the document so that it matches what the instructor is using. It would have been much easier just to download the new documents in the state they needed to be in to follow along with the lessons at the beginning. Also, there is talk of adding a 2nd style sheet, that is embedded into the main styles sheet, called "import." This style sheet is also not included in the supporting files. I still found the videos informative, and I feel I was able to absorb the material, but again, would have been much easier to follow along and actually do the exercises as they were presented. It appears that the instructor is working under the impression that this second style sheet is available. However, the only supporting document included in the 201 download is the "alt_design.css" sheet.
