just done the ableton tuts and it is like comparing chalk to cheese but together they make a great team. At the end of Olav's tutorial he plays a lot of games with a very simple synth part. This is inspiring. Do you think it would be possibe to build on this by putting some simple midi in with a part and showing us more of the stuff that live can do with the sound without having to imput another note! I guess I'm saying effects (midi and audio) and in particular, envelopes. I think Bill mentions early that those that rise to the top have a real command of midi and audio effects. thanks, neil

Hi, hesitated to download NED and get tutorials for some time after reading PC nightmare BUT did so and the tutorials work just fine in Win XP (SP3 NETFRAME 3.5). So compare and contrast Cubase to Logic - much is missing from Cubase. 400+ mins of Mathew's 101 tutorial is cool but like he says it only scratches the surface - so lets have more we are only and beginner level 2 with this one. When Mathew suggests he uses WAVELAB for mastering this suggests he is a PC user - so am I and I'd like to see a full Wavelab set even though it is non-Mac. My only criticism of Cubase 101 is the song. After 400 mins I hate it but it is stuck in my head. Great start but cut Methew some slack and let him move through intermediate to advanced Cubase - it is at least as powerful as Logic. best wishes, Neil

The Kore 2 tutorial is brill. I would advise against any KOMPLETE tutorials for KOMPLETE changes its content too much. The tutorial style is inspiring so could we have tutorials for separate intruments rather than the bundle? Thanks, Neil

Hi, I ignored my own advice and got all of the NI tuorials - fantastic and so much to learn, wonderfully explained and I would never have found so much from the NI manuals. And just when you think you know some stuff the TNT's reveal even more. A maschine set would be great as well. thanks, neil

Helko Rounik - so someone at Macpro is alive. Do you think you could ask support or the tekkies to repair Maschine Quickstart for Windows - it has been broken since Aug 25. We have paid for the product but cannot download and watch it away from the Net. I posted two requests to support which have been ignored and have corresponded with another lost soul via the Windows forum who is in a similar boat. very disappointed, Neil

The NLE player does not work for me on iPad with IOS 12.4.1. I just get a black screen with no course download.
