The type of music I mess with is mostly rock; but I still find some of the things he was talking about to be useful for me as well. No, sir. It only took a couple of hours - but you have to keep in mind that I have (4) children who are demanding when it comes to attention from Daddy. The actual time was probably around (1) hr (give or take a minute). My impression? It's cool. Not any notable change on the Arrange page - but I do notice that a little white boarder is visible to show which window you are working in, I guess. You know the obvious things - and unfortunately I can't really comment on those things too much yet. I spent a lot of time messing around with the Amp sim, and it is alright for the most part. Overall - I guess I would say it is a good upgrade ... but the real jury (John Q.) is still out.

A silly question that I was wondering. Is there a benefit to filming the tutorials in 1024 x 768 or is this just a size that works for all things (iPhone, home computer, etc). I noticed that Steve H did his new video on Logic 9 in a different (larger?) size. Hence - that is why I was wondering this. Both videos are relatively new, yet filmed at different sizes. Really not a big deal - just morbid curiosity from a self-professed geek.

I was to ask a couple of things. I am considering the purhcase of this new Redmatica Keymap tutorial. I have heard some good thing sabout the App - but I was wondering: can you do Loop Slicing similar to that of ReCycle? Also - when will there be some preview tutorials for this product?
