Hadn't noticed this course until seeing the review just below mine. It's fantastic! Some of the best and most memorable analogies I've ever heard for describing why-we-do-what-we-do in the mixing process. On a selfish note, seeing Daniel use mostly plug-ins that I happen to own (SoundToys, FabFilter) was a massive bonus and incentive to complete the course, but it's also interesting to see how Daniel's approach differs from other mixing engineers. Even if you know your way around the virtual mixing desk, you will probably find this to be a really refreshing watch.

Daniel really has the talent to explain a variety of topics about mixing. I am mixing/producing myself (homestudio) about 20 years now and still have learned so many useful tips and tricks in this course. For any beginner or advanced mixing enthusiast I can highly recommend this tutorial. Daniel has a super enjoyable way of teaching. 5 stars all the way ! I'm looking forward to watch the 'Advanced tutorial'

A great course for any beginner level user. A lot of aspects are covered and the total structure is both informative and easy to follow. And Daniel, also thank you for your great pronounciation and articulation; the whole thing was very easy to understand. Definitely recommended!

The best intro to mixing electronic music I've ever seen. Beginners should start here. The analogies make complex processes quite clear and I love his 5 effect channel strip approach. Decapitator all the things! I could be more methodical in my mix approach and standardizing in this way will likely speed up my approach.

Great course. Some really basic but great ways to make your mixes better. A lot of stuff you probably know ,but reinforce a methodical workflow. Now to dive in to the advanced course!
