Outside the Box: Producing Bass Lines is a course designed to give you perspective on how a bass player develops their musical expression when writing music. The approach seems practical, since there are many examples that show musicians playing the techniques that are explained in each tutorial. I would recommend this type of class for other instruments and roles involved in the collaborative music making process.

This tutorial confirms and adds to the idea that, a well designed bassline is the foundation for a great song.

Another quality course from Eyal, covering articulation, syncopation and many other techniques you'd expect in bassline composition. A very good quick course that beginners can go on to explore further with.

Amir proves his genius leading you through this tutorial. Would have liked to see DAW examples but the lectures were thorough enough.

Does an okay job of explaining how to do custom bass lines. Would have been better if he showed it within a DAW sequencer using MIDI, especially for the odd signatures and bass variations.

Another insightful course from Eyal. I liked the thoughts on bass grooving in odd time sigs and doubling bass with synth. Very cool.

This was really inspirational and deepened my idea of making grooves a lot. I have been a fan of Eyal Amir's works for a good time but this gave me all new insight of his music and thought processes beyond. Thanks!
