There's very few people in the software training industry that don't know Larry Jordan, myself included. I met Mr. Jordan a long long time ago in a tradeshow far, far away … we've traveled the circuit together for years!
Mr. Jordan has continuously amazed me with his dedication to helping people learn software. As an Apple-Certified Trainer in Digital Media, specializing in Final Cut Studio, Mr. Jordan combines his extensive production experience with his teaching skills to bring a wide-ranging, real-world perspective to his classes. He was one of the first four Apple-Certified trainers in the U.S. to receive credentials as an “Advanced level" Final Cut Pro instructor, and these skills are immediately present in his calm delivery of complex video editing topics.
As a veteran technical author, Mr. Jordan is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of "Edit Well," the rich-media newsletter for Final Cut Studio, published by Peachpit Press. He has also created and narrated hundreds of hours of online training for Lynda.com and is the author of five books on Final Cut Pro, published by Peachpit Press and Focal Press.
When he's not helping people learn software, Mr. Jordan is a producer, director, editor, consultant and trainer with over 25 years of video production and post-production experience. A member of both the Directors Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America, he is a post-production consultant to Los Angeles broadcast and production studios.
