An excellent course covering a range of foundational AV topics in detail - especially good if you're a starting out or looking to fill in your knowledge gaps in a self contained video course.

Larry is very entertaining and knowledgeable. The course is a few years old now in an area with a lot of progress. So some of its a bit dated, yet still some good info to be had.

Useful and simple information about video and a bit of sound. General concepts, but used properly, will make your videos look, and sound better.

Some good advice for beginners but the magazine format made watching several tutorials in one sitting rather a repetitive experience.

Before buying a camera, watch these. Unfortunately; most people buy cameras without researching.

I've been getting into recording concerts lately so it's great to find a tutorial with so many helpful tips! It gets confusing with all the cams & formats but at least I got a good starting point now.

Larry Jordan provides good insight regarding best practices for audio and video editing in this tutorial. No matter how long you've been editing, this is worth watching to pick up some good habits!

Though I've been doing video for over a decade, I believe this is rather superb. I read the other folk's comments -- however I believe they miss the point: the title of the course includes the word: FUNDAMENTALS. Yes, I would have liked some diagrams & pictures, but that's not the scope of the course. I care more about what is LEARNED (and retained) rather than "is it for MacproVideo". Larry not only is organized and presents well, but also DEMONSTRATES what he talks about (i.e.: lighting), dress, composure, demeanor, and communications --- besides just being "likable" in contrast to Lurch with that "fahunny farren ahkcent". Larry is definitely a Grand Master in his field and shows it.
