Thank you Thavius! This course and all of his courses have made learning Elektron devices fun and easy. I like to watch his courses first, then ready the manual as I find it easier to process once you have a grasp. Not sure what all the fuss over the Octratrack is, it is a very powerful but straightforward machine. It is not some big mystery box that is hard to use. Watch this and you will see what a fun and simple to use the tool it is. If you own the MKii, still start with this video and learn the foundation. there is some overlap but also he covers unique topics in each video. Keep in mind when watching this one that some of the tasks have been made much easier with the new buttons added on the MKii, as you will see in his MKii video. Have fun!

If you ask me, this is the best structured explanation of Octatrack that I have found. Super organized and explained simple. There are lots of tutorials on youtube, but this course is professionally structured so anybody can understand. I watched it couple of times, plus the course for Octatrack MK2. I use bot octatrack courses as my reference. Strongly suggest.

Great instructor and very well-structured run through of many common Octatrack use-cases. I only wish there was more coverage of intermediate to advanced features. That's not a knock on this course as it is though, would just be great to have an second course to compliment the first. The instructor is really good at explaining concepts without falling into the easy mistake of making things overly complicated.

This course was fantastic. It explained and cleared up many issues I had come across while trying to learn the Octatrack and incorporate it into my setup. Thavius is a great instructor and keeps these lessons organized and to the point. Wish I would have watched these when I first bought this thing, it would have saved a lot of time and frustration!

After taking this course I was able to navigate my way around the octatrack with ease and began to make music almost immediately. Along with the manual and merlins OT guide I find the videos very helpful to come back to if I get stuck. Thavius beck is great. Highly recommend for new octatrack owners.
