Want to create your own iOS applications? Join Neal Goldstein, iOS programming expert and bestselling For Dummies author, as he takes you step-by-step through the process of developing your very first iOS app!
In this introductory course, you'll learn important iOS 6 app development basics before moving along to developing the software skills you need to bring your apps to life.
iOS trainer, Neal Goldstein, takes it from the top explaining how you can join the Apple Developer Corps and register for an Apple iOS Developer account. Next, you'll learn how to install Xcode - Apple's iOS Integrated Development Environment (IDE) - and start exploring the iOS Software Development Kit (SDK). From there, Neal explains key iOS development principles like design patterns and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) programming approach, and then moves you right along to creating, building, and running your own Xcode projects.
The course continues with a series of tutorials focusing on Views, View Controllers, and Storyboards then dives deep into the world of Objective-C. Neal expertly guides you through the "hooking up" phase of the development process where you'll connect and activate the logical functionality of your app. And finally, you'll wrap up the course by adding some flair to your app with animations and sound effects.
This course includes actual project files to help you work along with Neal's lessons. These real-world samples are your sandbox and give you the opportunity to explore and discover the intricacies of Neal's programming process.
In each lesson, you'll find clear expert video instruction, useful tips and reminders, and tools for taking notes, keeping track of your favorite lessons, and monitoring your progress along the way.
So put on your developer cap, break out the toolbox, and immerse yourself in the engaging world of iOS application development with help from For Dummies!
Nice and easy explanation this will be great for someone who just started (like me) into iOS development. Learned about lot of core details about the framework and process of writing apps.

This walks through writing a very simple application in Xcode and covers some of the Xcode basics. The programming here is pretty simple, but you'll want to have a basic understanding of Obj-C first.

I watched the other iOS App tutorial but, I like this one much better because it gives more of a in-depth explanation of x-code and application development.
Great if you are a novice beginne.
