Matt takes you through all the basics from setup to MIDI control and everything in-between. At first glance, Kontakt's user interface (UI) can seem seem a bit daunting! But all of those UI mysteries will be quickly solved as Matt systematically explains what they do and how they work together. From there you get a detailed look at Kontakt's instruments, mixer, built-in effects and MIDI implementation.

Sampling is mostly about recreating sounds from the real world. That's why, in the next section, you learn all about keyswitching and how all those mapped articulations will help you add realism and believability to your tracks.
