With OS X Yosemite, Apple has introduced many enhancements to Mail's and Calendar's feature-set. This 27-tutorial course is designed to help you make most of these powerful, core applications. Learn them now!
Francesco Schiavon is a recognized expert in the topic of digital media deployment for web and optical disc. A dedicated educator, Francesco has spent the last decade teaching in some of Canada's leading multimedia schools.
Communication and scheduling are at the heart of Apple's OS X Yosemite. This course, by our favorite Mac trainer Francesco Schiavon, explains Mail and Calendar and shows you how to utilize all of their advanced tools to enhance your Mac user experience.
It starts with Mail. You first learn the secrets of easily setting up Mail and your POP and IMAP accounts. Then you get a look at the tools to create Smart Mailboxes, Favorites and VIPs. Once the basics are in place, Francesco expertly guides you through Mail's various features as you compose, forward, attach, format and use Mail Drop to get your correspondence well on its way!
Next up is Calendar. To start with, you learn the basics of how this deceptively simple but powerful program works. Then, you explore its core toolbox: Events, Locations, Contact integration and Alerts to make sure that you're always on time, anywhere you're supposed be!
So get your communication and scheduling skills up-to-speed in this down-to-earth look at Yosemite's Mail and Calendar applications.
Very easy to understand and follow Francesco. Just wish there was a newer version as this one is several years old now.

Francesco Schiavon is my go to for OS X tutorials, I've completed all Yosimite tutorials and test and will now turn to complete all Maverick tutorials. It's impossible to match MPV's value.
