Really good overview of the physics of sound presented in typical Steve H style. There was some really interesting tutorials within this course, that were explained well.
The only downside to this course is that it is not long enough!

Excellent! I really enjoy every course by Steve Horelick, he really knows how to present material in an easy to understand way without "dumbing it down".

This was awesome. This course drove home some of the facts that were swimming in my mind from other courses and allowed me to put a couple of things into practice. The light manner in which the instructor teaches keeps the student not only engaged but also encourages the student to open up Logic and play along with him. I was able to dust off some of my plugins and while twisting and turning knobs like a small child, I was able to grasp understanding of what those knobs were called and what their purpose was. I would call this course, FUN!!! I am using Logic Pro X, and I was able to follow along with everything. thank You Mac Pro Video and Steve Horelick.

Heard so much about this course, and although it's quite old now, what I've learnt is timeless. I have in some way manipulated all that was talked about, but I have so much more understanding now.

Such an amazing course! It's a real shame that it isn't in a better location in the library. It should definitely have more exposure. It's so hard to find tutorials that can go so deep into basics.

Incredibly valuable information, very easy to understand presentation. Outstanding tutorial for anybody involved with all aspect of sound, music and recording.

A solid introduction to the subject. It not only explains the basics in a clear, concise manner, but by using Logic and its tools helps introduce you to aspects of Logic you might not have known.

I ordered 9 different tutorials, covering various aspects of Logic. Though my music is primarily acoustic based, I found
something in each one that opened up a whole new world . I'm a first time user of Logic, and was at first overwhelmed by the sheer content of the program. But after my first tutorial, (Logic 101) I was soon on my way too recording my first track. The tutorials move quickly, but you're able too review (recommened) as many times as needed. I found the tutorials got me out of the "fear stage" of Logic, inspiring me, and my music. Highly recommended!!!

Very good tutorial, that contains a lot of info as a prerequisite to using soft synths. It could use a little updating, but still informative nonetheless.
