This is one of the best, if not the best music production course I had the pleasure to take. Very well structured on every level. Falcon is not an easy instrument to learn. And this intro course makes it more accessible. The instructor's delivery is superb. Clear, concise and highly instructive. Focusing on the most important features, but giving general insights into many others that could not be covered. Kudos.

I think most people have a sense that Falcon 2 is a very powerful instrument, but that it's also extremely complex. This video really takes the edge off. It's does not (cannot, and doesn't endeavor to) exhaustively explain every feature. But you'll walk a way with a very robust sense of its overall architecture, and it will allow you to explore with confidence. And man, this thing is really worth the effort. A lot of plugins are described as "a sound designer's dream." This one really does deliver. UVI has gone with "hybrid virtual instrument" (because it's sort of a mashup of a "super synth" and a high-end sampler), but it's probably better thought of a development environment for creating instruments -- with really no limits at all on the source of the sounds that instrument makes or its articulations. This course is great way to get started with it.
