Interesting course, for sure, but the content that actually addressed the supposed subject of songwriting was limited and haphazard. Certainly worth an hour or so of your time if you want to write songs, but a high proportion of the time was actually taken up with discussion of issues concerning recording, mixing and so on. So I'd say four out of five for interest but two out of five for subject relevance.

This course is equally about songwriting as it is about recording and mixing. In it we get to see how these people like to do the above and why.

Nice course, with some interesting point of view, many good tips and suggestions. very useful for students that want starting with songwriting.

This is more so a video about the individuals in the video's song writing process. I would consider it more a documentary than a tutorial. It is however, very inspirational for those who need a little motivation.

very interesting course, or yeah it's more of a documentary. As stated earlier, it would have been even better if it included more of the creative process but nonetheless very good stuff.

Really cool to see how the not so mainstream writers work! Awesome voice, cool co-lab between all involved and a very nice format keeping it interesting all the way through on both the songwriting process, and the production! Fab song, too!

It's really fascinating to get a "fly on the wall" perspective of how these guys write a song. Its also encouraging to me as well… simply because I find they really aren't much different from me. and my writing process isn't too far removed from how they do it. very cool!

This was a very inspirational course for me. I especially enjoyed the explanation of the mixing process and appreciated the simplicity of it all. It sounded like something Johnny Cash would have done at Sun Studios back in the day. Kudos to the guys involved.

Great course !!
I liked how it flowed from just an idea to a final production. The production technics and explanation for using them them was extremely helpful to me. I was a bit curious about the drums and percussions, were they done by a live drummer or software plug-in
